Resumé and History

David J. Pfeffer has 25 years of experience in the outdoor Amusement Business and Sue Imes-Pfeffer has 18 years of experience. We formed TONS of FUN Shows in 1991 to promote good old fashion family fun, help services organizations raise much needed revenues and to work for the good of our community and the surrounding communities.

We are proud members of the PA. State Showmen's Association, the Outdoor Amusement Business Association, and the National Carnival Association.

David J. Pfeffer holds an Board of Directorship with the Pa. State Showmen's Association and also is a Pa. State Ride Safety Inspector and is State checked on a regular basis.

David and Sue are both second generation carnival owners. David’s parents own Otto’s Amusements, Inc. and for 5 years he moved a unit of rides for his parents before forming Tons of Fun. Sue’s Mother , Betty and Brother , Patrick own and operate Oscar’s Amusements, Inc. and helped us by selling us our first rides in 1991. Although we are a family based organization we are also competitors to our families and we also, at times, work side by side to benefit one another and our sponsors.

Tons of Fun Shows believes that working with family for the benefit of a sponsor , can be fun and a learning experience. Exchanging ideas, listening to experiences, and dealing with sponsors can be very beneficial to both companies. Forming Tons of Fun Shows was in planning for many years prior to its actual conception, we believed we could change some of the “old traditional” methods of running a carnival for the benefit of all. We do this through our advertising methods, employee hiring, and staying within a fifty miles radius of Douglassville.
